2013 Nissan Altima Gets Extremely Fuel-Efficient
Unless you're living under a rock (which we doubt you are, if there's internet access available), you've probably seen the rise of the hybrid and electric automobile craze. However, if you're choosing a hybrid simply because it's branded as such, you could be missing out on other excellent fuel-efficient choices. Take the 2013 Nissan Altima, for example. This new vehicle promises 38 mpg highway from its redesigned 2.5-liter engine. The midsize Altima sedan has a starting price of only $21,500 for its base 2.5 trim (much less than many hybrid models) and also comes with a more powerful, slightly less fuel efficient engine option, a 3.5-liter V6 for those that would rather have the heft.
As Brian Carolin, Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Nissan North America explains, "In a segment as critical as this, with longtime nameplates and new challengers fighting for every sale, it's not enough to just target the competition. You have to think outside - and far above - the segment. We created the new Altima to set a clearly recognized benchmark for many years to come."1
The Nissan Altima is one of the brand's best-selling vehicles. The 2013 model will feature an available BOSE premium audio system and Advanced Drive-Assist Display, while Blind Spot & Lane Departure Warning and Bluetooth come as standard.
The new Nissan Altima should arrive in dealerships like Coon Rapids Nissan, conveniently located at 3300 129th Avenue NW Coon Rapids, MN 55448, by late summer 2012, so be sure to check our new Nissan inventory and stay tuned for updates as soon as they're available. And remember, we still have the gorgeous 2012 model available!
