Production for the vehicle has officially begun at the brand's Smyrna, Tennessee factory. The 2013 Altima marks over twenty years of U.S. Altima production and represents the brand's successful evolution of the Altima from a somewhat awkward-looking auto to one of the best-selling models in the United States.

Unless you're living under a rock (which we doubt you are, if there's internet access available), you've probably seen the rise of the hybrid and electric automobile craze.
