Nissan Partners with Sony for Second Season of GT Academy

Have you had the opportunity to see the popular non-scripted television series GT Academy on Spike TV? If not, you'll get a second shot at the show when it reappears for its second season this fall. Inspired by a partnership between Nissan North America and Sony Computer Entertainment America, the show challenges racing fans and gamers to compete in a series of time trials online in specific Nissan vehicles for the chance of becoming a real-life racing driver. The 2011 competition attracted over 53-thousand competitors across the U.S., but Bryan Heitkotter of California grabbed the title of winner. He now races for Nissan in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
